This session will bring together four (4) speakers representing the government, academia, business, and organizations directly affecting Open RAN. They will discuss the future from the view of their organization’s perspective – focusing on how the world trends and events will somehow impact telecommunications development in the Philippines.
Speakers:
- Dr. Franz de Leon will discuss the government’s advance science perspective,
- Arvin Sienna from from PTDL will discuss the Telco perspective,
- Jaybie de Guzman from the academe will share how universities can prepare students with the the skills needed by Telcos and the wider industries partners, and
- Vincent “Achie” Atienza from Globe will share the ‘organizations’ perspective, bringing in the PhNOG and how other NOGs are preparing or anticipating for it.
